MSNBC Reports on the health risks of Radon gas in schools.

CanSAR is a not for profit group of volunteers who never stop spreading the message that radon gas is the leading environmental cause of cancer deaths. Radon gas accounts for up to 14% of lung cancer deaths in the U.S. according to the World Health Organization.  Very few people are aware that over 21,000 individuals in the US and over 2000 in Canada die annually from radon-induced lung cancer.

Whether it is the EPA in the United States, Health Canada here at home or the World Health Organization, the message is the same about what we should do about radon:
